How to Prepare for Cincinnati’s Blink Festival
Cincinnati’s beloved Blink Festival returns in 2024, promising to be bigger, brighter, and more breathtaking than ever before. As one of the largest light, art, and projection mapping events in the United States, Blink has become a signature event for the city, drawing hundreds of thousands of visitors from across the country and beyond. Spanning four nights from October 10th to 13th, this year’s festival is set to transform the city into an immersive wonderland of light and creativity.
Blink 2024 will feature more than 80 art installations in 6 zones from Findlay Market through Downtown Cincinnati to Newport and Covington in Northern Kentucky. With so much to see, it’s important to plan ahead so check out our tips below to make the most of your visit.
- Study the maps and guides available online. Pick one or two zones to explore each evening.
- Parking will be a major issue. Ride the Metro, carpool with others, take an Uber or Lyft, ride your bike, take the Streetcar, walk.

- Blink is a walking event. Start now to get yourself in shape. Carry as little as possible, but bring a water bottle.
- Dress for the weather as October nights can get cool.
