Repurposing

Each time we walk through Over-the-Rhine, we discover something old that has been repurposed into something creative and useful. At Taft’s Ale House, it’s the gavel beer tap handles made from the church’s original wooden stairs. We’ve also seen the old hatchet at Nation Kitchen and Bar fashioned into the front door hardware. And we love the patio fence at Che’ made from tree bark.

But of everything we’ve run across in OTR, nothing has caught our eye as much as this parking meter turned flower pot. What’s old is new if you look at it from the right perspective.
