Come for the Food. Then Walk it Off.

We like to say that our Cincinnati Food Tours are “calorie-neutral.” We eat a sample, and then we jokingly tell ourselves that we’ll walk it off on the way to the next sample. After you take our tour, we hope you keep that possibility in mind as you explore the rest of Cincinnati. Eat a little. Walk a little. We have so many places to do both.

MUSIC HALL, WASHINGTON PARK

MUSIC HALL, WASHINGTON PARK

At the heart of the Over-the-Rhine neighborhood and just a few short blocks from Findlay Market is Washington Park. You can enjoy dinner at The Anchor OTRoverlooking the park and then take a stroll through this gorgeous revitalized urban green space. In the shadows of Music Hall, watch kids playing in the fountains, admire the gardens, and absorb Civil War history as you take a lap around the park.

SMALE RIVERFRONT PARK

SMALE RIVERFRONT PARK

If you prefer to head to the Ohio River banks, explore Smale Riverfront Park. You can eat at Moerlein Lager House and then walk the paths that connect Carol Ann’s Carousel to playgrounds, our stadiums, and our bridges. Make sure you slow down long enough to dance on the giant Smale Park piano keyboard.

VIEW FROM DEVOU PARK

You’ll find plenty of restaurants and parks to explore on the Kentucky side of the river, too. Enjoy a meal at Dee Felice Cafe in Covington. Then take to the hills to check out Devou Park. If a hike doesn’t take your breath away, the panoramic view of the Cincinnati skyline will!

GLENWOOD GARDENS

GLENWOOD GARDENS

Ready to explore some of the restaurants and parks away from the city? Try brunch at the Grande Finale in historic Glendale. You can walk it off at nearby Glenwood Gardens, a beautifully landscaped Hamilton County park with both paved and nature trails.

Come for the food. Walk it off. No better place to do it than Cincinnati.

WINTON WOODS PARK
Update Feb. 2022: The Anchor OTR has closed and been replaced by another locally-owned restaurant called Losanti. Unfortunately Grande Finale recently announced they were closing their doors after 46 years in Glendale.
